First Time at Trader Joe's

I was up until 4:00 a.m. today trying to figure out and organize my blog, so I didn't wake up until 2:00 p.m. this afternoon. My mother woke me up reminding me that I was accompanying her to Trader Joe's, which she's been bugging me about since a year or two ago when my aunt residing in California boasted about her pantry closet full of Speculoos Cookie Butter.

I got out of bed a couple minutes later and found her in my father's room on the phone with a credit card company. We were trying to get a card which won't charge extra for any foreign transactions since we're leaving for the Philippines in a month.
Gosh I didn't even realize there are only 30 more days and we're off to the land where I was born and spent the first 10 years of my life in. After 9.25 years I finally get to rediscover and relive what I think were the most amazing 10 years of my life - talk about living in the past… (but that'll be another post…).

I took my puppy Gizmo out for a potty break, got back inside to change clothes, brushed my teeth and did my hair (which was a hassle because I'm at that stage where my hair can neither be classified as long nor short), and, almost forgetting the most important meal of the day, made myself a breakfast smoothie.

Genesis

Let's try blogging and see where it'll take me(:

I am incredibly excited about this blog. It's probably the wrong time for me since I am a college student and I do have a lot on my plate, but I just have so much I would like to share. It's ironic because I feel my life is so empty and lonely that even my Instagram and Facebook accounts are lifeless because there's nothing to post about or show off - which seems to be the real purpose of these social medias.

Not wanting to bombard anyone's news feed with my non-conforming (well, some conforming…) ideas and opinions on different subject matters, as well as pictures of foods I discover or concoct, and other random pictures that seem to give away the essence of who I am, I've decided to jump on the bandwagon and create a blog… on BlogSpot that is. Maybe when I get a job someday or when I can afford to pay the mere few bucks to have my very own blog, I wouldn't have to "rent" a space on BlogSpot. But for now this will do.

I hope this blog of mine will help serve as a reminder to be thankful at all times and to never forget who I am and the principles that I stand by. Its purpose isn't necessarily to inspire or give advice to others, but really, mostly for self growth. However, I still hope that anyone who comes across this blog enjoys the reads and the pictures.

Thank You (:

Sincerely,

Much Obliged
